1. 春は桜の花が咲きます

Haru wa sakura no hana ga sakimasu.
In spring, cherry blossoms bloom.
暖かくなります.
Atatakaku narimasu.
It becomes warm.
梅雨は雨がたくさん降ります.
Tsuyu wa ame ga takusan furimasu.
In the rainy season, it rains a lot.
じめじめしています.
Jimejime shite imasu.
It's humid.
夏は暑いです.
Natsu wa atsui desu.
In summer, it's hot.
セミが鳴きます.
Semi ga nakimasu.
Cicadas sing.
学校が休みになります.
Gakkō ga yasumi ni narimasu.
School goes on break.
秋はすずしくなります.
Aki wa suzushiku narimasu.
In autumn, it becomes cool.
もみじがきれいです.
Momiji ga kirei desu.
The maple leaves are beautiful.
冬は寒いです.
Fuyu wa samui desu.
In winter, it's cold.
雪が降ります.
Yuki ga furimasu.
It snows.

There's a rainy season and a dry season.

The dry season is very hot.

でも、雨季は少しすずしくなります.

It rains a lot.

There are four seasons.

But summer is very hot.
冬はとても寒いです.
Fuyu wa totemo samui desu.
Winter is very cold.

夏は40度、冬はマイナス40度になります.
Natsu wa yonjū-do, fuyu wa mainasu yonjū-do ni narimasu.
In summer it reaches 40 degrees, and in winter it goes down to minus 40 degrees.

But summer is very short.
冬がとても長いです.
Fuyu ga totemo nagai desu.
Winter is very long.
10月ごろから5月ごろまで冬です.
Jūgatsu goro kara gogatsu goro made fuyu desu.
It's winter from around October to around May.

私は暑いのが苦手ですから.
Watashi wa atsui no ga nigate desu kara.
Because I'm not good with hot weather.
秋はすずしいですから好きです.
Aki wa suzushii desu kara suki desu.
I like autumn because it's cool.
メリさんは？
Meri-san wa?
How about you, Meri-san?
メリ
私は暑いのが大好きですから、夏が好きです.
Watashi wa atsui no ga daisuki desu kara, natsu ga suki desu.
I love hot weather, so I like summer.

へー、そうですか.
Hē, sō desu ka.
Oh, is that so?
メリ
海や山で遊ぶのも楽しいです.
Umi ya yama de asobu no mo tanoshii desu.
Playing in the sea and mountains is also fun.

Kawano-san wa? Dono kisetsu ga suki desu ka?
How about you, Kawano-san? Which season do you like?

I also like autumn.
